The Fryer Book Group was founded to serve the growing number of retail companies and consumer brands that are struggling to compete in a rapidly evolving marketplace. Our founders, Steve Fryer and Chris Book, initially met in 2007 at The Walt Disney Company, where they developed firmly rooted expertise in the detail-oriented execution that allows Disney to remain the happiest place on earth and a pillar of innovation.
Steve would continue to lead guest experience for many years at Disney where he would go on to develop revolutionary strategies to boost guest satisfaction and drive revenue. Chris left Disney, going onto help some of the world’s best and brightest brands, such as Nike, Intel, and Google, develop their businesses and achieve growth. Chris would eventually join Sears Holdings as part of the turnaround team, where he oversaw corporate strategy and the restructuring of the company’s $10B expense budget, before moving on to lead the company’s multi-billion dollar e-commerce division.
Today, they’ve rejoined forces with a simple goal: to pass along what they’ve learned over the years so that organizations can fulfill their potential and maximize success. Some think we’re a bit intense. We are. We take our work very seriously and will pass that same intensity along to you. The alternative is failure, and that’s simply not an option.
